Playing down AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal’s announcement of registrations for welfare schemes, the AAP chief pointed out that not a single rupee has been disbursed to date under the scheme even though forms were collected for it before the Lok Sabha elections.
According to the AAP chief, Delhi government will provide Rs 2,100 per month to every woman above 18 years of age under ‘Mahila Samman Yojana’ and offer free treatment for all senior citizens under ‘Sanjeevani Yojana.
Reacting to the AAP parliamentarian’s remarks, he said, “We welcome the actions taken by MCD officials to identify infiltrators. But refute the claims made by AAP MP Sanjay Singh.”
BJP MP from North-East Delhi and former Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari on Saturday accused the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leadership of showing only pretentious respect toward the Purvanchal community.
Tiwari raised questions about the legitimacy of the order issued by Kejriwal to address water and sewage issues in the city.
Following the protest call given by the AAP, Delhi Police have beefed up security across the national capital.
