Playing down AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal’s announcement of registrations for welfare schemes, the AAP chief pointed out that not a single rupee has been disbursed to date under the scheme even though forms were collected for it before the Lok Sabha elections.
According to the AAP chief, Delhi government will provide Rs 2,100 per month to every woman above 18 years of age under ‘Mahila Samman Yojana’ and offer free treatment for all senior citizens under ‘Sanjeevani Yojana.
The BJP leaders further claimed that now it seems all these developments prompted Sisodia to send out a letter in a bid to get his share of news time.
The AAP leader had said she was approached by the BJP, through a close associate, to join the party to “save my political career”.
His second letter from Tihar Jail penned in Hindi surfaced on Friday, in which he compared his imprisonment with those who were put behind bars by the British during the freedom movement.
Accusing the AAP of hurting people's sentiments by placing Kejriwal's photo in the middle of the photos of the two national heroes, he said Aam Aadmi should be ashamed of the offensive act.
The complaint is said to be over an alleged violation of the Model Code of Conduct.
