Stepping up its attack on the AAP government, Delhi Congress President Devender Yadav, on Tuesday, alleged that by targeting the latter, the ruling party cannot absolve itself of the misdeeds and false promises it made to the residents of the city ahead of the assembly elections.
Sachdeva alleged that the two parties including AAP and Congress, ahead of the Delhi assembly polls are competing to attract a particular community’s votes, driven by desperation as they foresee their upcoming defeat.
Ahead of the assembly election in Delhi, fitness influencer Rohit Dalal, Akshay Dilwari and Tilak Raj joined the AAP on Thursday in presence of its national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel here at the party headquarters.
Speaking to reporters after meeting the LG, Dikshit said, “I thank the LG for patiently listening to me, and he has assured that he will get the matter investigated properly and if shortcomings are found, he will take a proper legal action in this matter.”

Holding a roadshow in support of Congress party's Jai Prakash Agarwal, the INDIA candidate from the Chandni Chowk Lok Sabha constituency, the chief minister gave the slogan "Jo kare Kejriwal ko pyaar woh kare Modi ka inkaar" (those who love Kejriwal will reject Modi)".
Kejriwal has got interim bail from the Supreme Court till June 1 in a money laundering case connected to the alleged excise policy scam.
