The AAP had claimed that a local BJP MLA assisted in the admission of 10 Rohingya children to a school in Karawal Nagar Assembly constituency.
After targeting the BJP-led Delhi government over frequent power cuts, the AAP on Friday launched a fresh attack on the saffron party-led government over its inaction on the fees hiked by various private schools.
He said the BJP workers would expose the false claims of power and water cuts made by the AAP leaders at three levels, social media, media, and on the streets.
The protest followed a week-long campaign by AAP on social media, particularly on X, raising concerns over electricity shortages. The ruling BJP, however, has dismissed these claims.
A total of 1,040 nominations have been accepted during scrutiny of the nominations filed by several candidates for the assembly elections for the 70 seats of the Delhi Assembly, said the Office of Chief Electoral Officer of Delhi.
Delhi BJP spokesperson Praveen Shankar Kapoor has slammed Aam Aadmi Party National Convener Arvind Kejriwal for trying to create "confusion" through a film about his arrest, emphasizing that innocence cannot be proven through private screenings but must be established in a court of law.
The BJP leader pointed out that Kejriwal should remember that before any private screening, he requires the court’s permission, as the court has prohibited him from making public statements or holding discussions regarding his case.
He said that it was unfortunate that AAP chief and party's candidate from New Delhi seat, on Saturday allegedly spread lies about being attacked with stones, just to avoid questions from the locals.
