Delhi Congress president Devender Yadav on Saturday accused Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal that he had committed “corruption” to the tune of Rs 2,026.91 crore in the liquor deal.
Addressing the 'Slum Dwellers' conference, Shah said, “People living in slums of Delhi are getting dirty water and questioning about it being one of the most polluted cities in the world. What did Arvind Kejriwal do in Delhi in the last 10 years? If you are not able to do anything Arvind Kejriwal, then you should leave the government, BJP will give all the benefits”.
Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly, Vijender Gupta on Saturday said former Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal has deceived the public by projecting an image of honesty and transparency after the BJP claimed that the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report on Delhi government’s now-scrapped excise policy caused loss of Rs 2,026 to the state exchequer.
The BJP also released a poll song in line with Sheesh Mahal controversy 'Aapda failaane walo ka adda.'
Ahead of the forthcoming Assembly elections in Delhi, senior Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on Saturday accused the saffron party of orchestrating electoral fraud by creating fake votes to manipulate the electoral outcomes.
Sumesh Shokeen, a former Congress MLA and a prominent leader from rural Delhi, joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday in the presence of the party's national convener, Arvind Kejriwal.
Gahlot said that he didn't take the decision under any pressure, nor was it taken overnight.
He further likened AAP to a sinking ship, claiming its ministers and MLAs are either being jailed or abandoning the party due to fear of the Enforcement Directorate.
Kejriwal claimed that despite hurdles created by the BJP, the AAP government has installed sewer and water pipelines and provided electricity connections to uplift the marginalised.
Jha, a two-time BJP MLA from the Kirari Assembly constituency in North West Delhi, joined the party at an event in the national capital.
