The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Monday criticized the BJP-led government over the law and order situation in the national capital, stating that it has “completely collapsed” under the ruling dispensation.
Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva on Sunday responded to AAP's allegations on Delhi government over the women's scheme, stating that the opposition leaders are unable to respond to Punjab and are making irrational statements out of political frustration.
Sachdeva said that while needy women in Delhi are hopeful about receiving the honorarium soon, it is unfortunate that AAP leaders continue to make irresponsible statements on the matter.
The AAP on Thursday asked the BJP government when it will give Rs 2,500 to Delhi’s women as promised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the assembly polls.
Attacking the BJP, she said, “The BJP is conspiring to stop the work of the AAP, the Delhi government, the people of Delhi and hence they put the elected Chief Minister of Delhi in jail in a fake case, without any evidence.”
AAP ministers Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj, this morning, termed the Supreme Court order on Kejriwal a "victory of truth" and said this validated Delhi CM's fight for truth.
The Delhi BJP spokesman accused the ruling party of running the civic body according to its whims rather than the Corporation Act.
Sachdeva hit out at the Delhi government accusing it of not making any arrangements for extra electricity during the summer.
Coming as it does barely a year away from the Delhi Assembly elections the development is being seen as a big morale booster to the BJP in Delhi.
