Addressing a press conference today, Aam Aadmi Party Punjab's chief spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang said the Union Minister presented false facts related to Punjab in Parliament.
Senior AAP Punjab leader and Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said the BJP government was using the ED and the CBI to suppress the voices of the Opposition.
Opposition parties in Punjab allege the Mann government was being 'remote controlled' by AAP national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal through leaders like Chadha.
"The musical-chairs game continues in the state secretariat, where officers are being shuffled every other day giving a clear signal of how indecisive and directionless has been the state government under AAP rule in Punjab," said BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh.
"Why does Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, who is already Z-plus protected from the Central government, needs Z+ security from Punjab also? This has been done fraudulently which is evident from the fact that he has been shown as an AAP Punjab convener, while he is actually a national convener. Shame on such pettiness," Warring said in a tweet.
Modi-led Central government had completely failed to provide security to the people.
Cheema questioned why the legislators did not remember the various monthly pensions received by the MLAs or former MLAs in the name of increment while taking decisions like discontinuation of working class pensions.
Bhagwant Mann said that the other listed businesses of the House should be set aside to discuss the urgent matter related to three agricultural legislations.
The AAP won four Lok Sabha seats in Punjab in the 2014 general elections. The party could not win a single Lok Sabha seat anywhere else in the country.
