Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab chief spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang said, "This is the first time in the electoral history of recent years in Punjab that no untoward incident occurred in the Sangrur by-election on Thursday. This is a testament that the law and order situation is completely intact."
