A large number of AAP workers gathered near the LG’s official residence in New Delhi on Saturday, raising slogans and demanding justice for the bereaved family.
AAP Delhi State Convenor Gopal Rai alleged that the BJP and the LG were politicising the Old Rajinder Nagar tragedy while ignoring the negligence of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) that claimed lives of a mother and her son.
The march was stopped midway by the Delhi Police on its way to the BJP headquarters.

AAP’s Delhi State Vice-President and MLA Kuldeep Kumar, along with colleagues Shiv Charan Goel, Vinayy Mishra, Somdutt Sharma, and Women's Wing President Sarika Chaudhary, joined party workers in staging the protest near Haryana Bhawan, Mandi House.
Maliwal also said that "this bad thing" wouldn't have happened with her, had Manish Sisodia been there.
The Delhi Chief Minister asserted that the Aam Aadmi Party cannot be crushed, as it is not just a political party but an "ideology".
They urged the public to respond to “injustice” with their votes, under the slogan “jail ka jawaab vote se”, in the Lok Sabha elections.
