Delhi's Urban Development Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj claimed that there is a rise in extortion cases and targeted shootings across the capital.
"They (the BJP) couldn't topple the Delhi government, nor could they break our MLAs," he said.
Kejriwal, who is the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), said that the people of Delhi should not face any trouble because he is in jail.
The meeting comes days after BJP leader and Union Minister Hardeep Puri called her a "Rabri Devi in making".
The party has been accusing the BJP of luring its leaders in a bid to topple the AAP government in Delhi.
Saurav Bharadwaj, MLA from Greater Kailash and senior spokesperson of the party said, "The Centre's deliberate attempts to snatch power of elected Delhi Government indicates the nervousness of the BJP. Through the LG's office, BJP wants to rule in Delhi indirectly."
Reacting to the decision of Bholath legislator Khaira and two other AAP MLAs to throw in their lot with the Congress party today, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal said “the cat is out of the bag”.
AAP MLAs had decided to donate a month's salary to the flood-hit state. The Delhi government had also donated Rs 10 crore to flood-ravaged Kerala.
It said that Patel, represented by advocate Kaushal Sharma, was not required in the present proceedings as it pertained to summoning of witnesses.
