As part of the campaign, party workers will reach out to city residents with a letter from Kejriwal telling people the "truth" behind his arrest and that of other party leaders in corruption cases.
Chief Minister Kejriwal is currently in Tihar Jail under judicial custody. He was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 21 in connection with the Delhi liquor policy case.
"The new campaign is aimed at increasing public awareness about the fraudulent arrest of Arvind Kejriwal and to encourage them to vote for him," the AAP said.
"It is worth noting that the BJP has put up objectionable hoardings across Delhi. On Friday morning, the AAP had filed a complaint with the Election Commission of India regarding this," said the party.
The AAP spokesperson said whoever is involved in any anti-Punjab activity will not be spared.
The AAP MP said the Delhi chief minister is not afraid of the BJP's investigative agencies, and the people of AAP are not the kind who will sit at home fearing the summons, raids, and jails of these agencies.
The Modi Government cannot suppress or intimidate AAP chief was a common refrain among state cabinet ministers and AAP MLAs, including Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann.
State Cabinet minister Anmol Gagan Maan said this during a function organised to celebrate AAP’s elevation to the status of a national party.
AAP has been looking for a national footprint and has contested polls in several states.
