Vipul Amrutlal Shah and his team altogether saw a total sum of 66 films in a short period. Despite several challenges coming along the way, the jury has done a spectacular job in choosing the deserving films.
Helmed by Sudha Kongara (Puthum Pudhu Kaalai) and produced by Suriya, the film won 5 of the main awards in the Feature Film Category. Namely: Best Feature Film, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Background Score, Best Screenplay, and Best Background Score.
It was a bittersweet moment for its makers as the lamented the absence of director K.R. Sachidanandan, who passed away in June 2020.
