Haryana, the reigning champions in the girls section, successfully defended their title after finishing on top of the table with 64 points. They won 10 medals which included seven gold, one silver and two bronze.
Siya (37kg), Ahaana Sharma (49kg) and Sarika Yadav (52kg) were the other Delhi boxers to progress into the last-8 stage.
Uday Singh led the way for Haryana as he outclassed Punjab’s Ranveer in a 37kg bout with a unanimous 5-0 decision. Ravi Sihag (49kg), Lakshay (52kg) and Naman (58kg) extended Haryana’s winning tally with victories by similar margins.
