For Manu Bhaker, the bronze medal win at the Paris Games was nothing short of redemption, especially after thoughts of quitting the sport hit her not too long ago. Not that her performances were not up to the mark, but there could have been a definite lack of motivation.
Manu shot 263.9 to top the eight-woman semi-final stage even as Arshdeep followed her to the gold medal contest, finishing second with a score of 260.5. Radhika Tanwar, also from Haryana, won bronze.
Devanshi Dhama bagged the silver in the senior 10m air pistol event while Yashaswini Singh Deshwal won the bronze medal.
India returned from the championship with a haul of one gold, two silver, and four bronze medals.
