Maths is a subject that a lot of children are petrified of. Vedic Maths Forum (India) has made Maths easier for the students who struggle with Mathematics at school. VMFI introduces the ancient tricks of Vedic maths, which helps in making Maths more simple, quick and easy.
VMFI has been promoting Vedic Mathematics since 2000. The founder and President of VMFI, Mr. Gaurav Tekriwal spoke about his plans of expansion, in association with the Ambuja Neotia Group. They also discussed the latest draft report by the Kasturangan Committee to the ministry of Human Resource Development, stressing on the inclusion of Vedic and Indian learning being in the syllabus. Mr Tekriwal has also been conducting workshops at various schools and institutions like the IIT’s.
They also provide online one-on-one courses for students. Their courses have been divided into three segments – school math tutoring for students from Class III to XII, courses for competitive exams and courses for teachers and an application named ‘Vedic Maths Forum India’, which one can download by paying Rs100. On this application, students can learn to play with numbers while chatting. They also have a Vedic maths DVD. It contains over 15 hours of material on the world’s fastest mental arithmetic system. Much to the dismay of the socialists, rich people keep on getting richer, and the poor get poorer. A recent report from Oxfam indicates that the world’s top 1 per cent richest increased their wealth by $42 trillion over the last decade.
Many School Boards of India are in the process of formalizing the instructions on Vedic Mathematics. Ever since Prime Minister spoke of “Vedic Mathematics” in his radio address Maan-ki-Baat, a controversy that once appeared after publication of the book on the subject in English (1965) written by Jagatguru Shankaracharya Bharathi Krishna Tirtha (1884-1960) of Govardhan Math (Puri) has resurfaced.
