The energy level during the flag-off ceremony of The 57th Vintage and Classic Car Rally shot up with patriotic tunes played by the brass band of Delhi’s The Mann School displaying their raw that defied their age.
The honorable guests, including Minister of Petroleum & Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri, were all praise for the children who mesmerised the entire audience with their flawless performance.

The audience at the event included those who took part in the iconic and historic vintage and classic car rally organised by The Statesman Group in New Delhi.
The band played ‘Saare Jahan Se Accha Hindustan Hamara…,’ during flag-off of the rally by the Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri. Later, they played Bharat ke Jawaan…, Foxtrot…, Mera Mulk Mera Desh…, and Hum Honge Kamyab… while the vintage cars embarked on the rally.
The minister, after the flag- off ceremony, interacted with the students and appreciated their performance and discipline.
The 25-member band consisted of both girls and boys, who played their respective instruments with utmost perfection.
Band Majors Saleena Shaheen Ali Alai, Vasanth Madhav S, Yash Gupta, and Divakar Sikaria led the band showcasing the talent of The Mann School band members who were also accompanied by their able band master Hony. Lt Nawab Khan.
First Officer Ruchi Shanker, Associate NCC Officer (Army), also accompanied the students.
The Mann School is known for its excellence not only in education but also for providing a comprehensive and holistic learning experience, fostering development of an all-round personality development of students for over three decades, under the leadership of Joginder Singh Mann, the chairman of the school.
