Virat Kohli does not need us, we need him: Bumrah
Bumrah, however, stressed that Kohli knows his cricket better than anyone else and that his experience of batting in these challenging conditions was essential from the team’s perspective.
In the 48th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL), resurgent Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) thrashed inconsistent Kings XI Punjab by 10 wickets and kept their play-offs hope alive on Tuesday at the Holkar Cricket Stadium, Indore.
With the win, now RCB have 10 points from 12 outings and their run rate is 0.218. Though they are placed at number seven in the IPL table, they can still qualify for the knockout stage.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma recently posted a picture of herself wearing a T-shirt with husband Kohli’s name and jersey number, and following Bangalore’s win, Virat had the perfect reply for her.
