The MI women’s batting lineups, which are led by Matthews, Sciver-Blunt, and Kaur and offer the team aggression, balance, and consistency, are equally formidable.
Meanwhile, the Delhi Capitals will be out for retribution after falling in the finals the previous year. Meg Lanning, a former Australian cricketer, leads the team, which includes Jemimah Rodriguez, hard-hitting opener Shafali Verma, Shikha Pandey, and Radha Yadav.
DC Women will rely on the dynamic starting duo of Lanning’s leadership and Verma’s aggression, which will also add depth and firepower to the squad.
MI Women focuses on dependability and flexible players, but DC Women boasts explosive skill and a diverse roster.
The Mumbai Indians, Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants, Royal Challengers Banglaore, and Uttar Pradesh Warriors will compete in the 2024 WPL. This tournament’s final match takes place at the Arun Jaitley Cricket Stadium in New Delhi on March 17.
