Wolves part ways with manager O’Neil after loss against Ipswich
Wolves have confirmed the departure of manager O'Neil on Sunday following their 2-1 loss against Ipswich Town in the Premier League.
The 29-year-old wants to reach the FA Cup final with the Red Devils.
With Manchester United out of contention for the Premier League title, Red Devils midfielder Juan Mata has assured fans that the team will do everything in their power to feature in the FA Cup final at least.
“Having a look at the calendar I see that there are only nine games remaining, hopefully ten, because that will mean that we made it to the FA Cup final which will take place at Wembley on the 19th of May. So that’s our goal: playing ten games from here to the end of the season,” Mata penned on his personal blog.

The Blues face-off with Southampton on April 22 for a spot in the FA Cup Final, which takes place on May 19 at Wembley Stadium.
They first face Premier League strugglers Swansea City, on Saturday, for a league fixture and Mata admitted nothing less than three points would do ahead of next week’s Manchester Derby.
“The first one is next Saturday, back to the Premier League. We will play at Old Trafford against Swansea and a victory would be very important to show that we want to maintain our position at the table. Then, we will have plenty of time to think about the derby and the rest of the games ahead,” the diminutive Spaniard, who was enjoying some time off due to the international break, expressed.
The 29-year-old also had a special message for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who departed the club after an eventful season-and-a-half last week for LA Galaxy:
“Last week we bade farewell to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who will continue his career in the LA Galaxy. It’s been a privilege to share the dressing room with one of the best strikers of the last 15 years, a footballer with a special personality on and off the pitch, who has played in different leagues and always in big clubs. Good luck in the MLS, Zlatan, I’m sure that you will keep scoring goals and enjoying football for a long time. Lycka till!”
