It seems Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli is taking his so-called “acting” career very seriously. After releasing back-to-back non-movie ‘Trailer’ videos, Kohli has already given himself an “Oscar award”.

On Wednesday, Virat Kohli took to micro-blogging site Twitter and posted his “Oscar acceptance speech” for winning the award for best ‘Non-acting by a Main Lead’.

“Getting it right when you think you got it all WROGN 😂🤘🏻@StayWrogn #TrailerTheMovie,” Virat Kohli caption the video on Twitter.

In the video, Kohli said, “This is unbelievable, best award for best non-acting by a main lead for trailer the movie. I would like to thank wrogn production for never making the movie and to my audience for not watching the movie, this was a fake movie so a fake award.”

Previously, the 29-year-old captain, who tied the knot with Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma in December 2017 in Italy, tried to tease his fans hinting that he might star in a movie.

“Another debut after 10 years, can’t wait!” Virat Kohli had Tweeted on September 20.

Virat Kohli then released the trailer of his ‘Trailer The Movie’ on 27 September, a day before the promised date, and posted: “We did put the right date on the poster, it’s just that we decided to release it on the #Wrogn date. So, without further ado, here is #TrailerTheMovie. Check it out while I prepare my Oscar acceptance speech. @StayWrogn #StayMadStayWrogn www.trailerthemovie.com”

In the trailer, Virat Kohli was shown as a superhero who does everything to save the world from aliens, terrorists, evil super villains, a horde of dinosaurs and even zombies.

And now Virat Kohli has taken his joke to another level by giving himself a fake Oscar award for Best ‘Non-acting by a Main Lead’.

It may be mentioned that Virat Kohli owns a clothing brand by the name of Wrogn.
