Don’t write off champions: Nathan Lyon on Kohli’s recent batting slump
The Australian team must be hoping to take advantage of Virat Kohli’s prolonged batting slump when the two sides clash in the five-Test series for the Border-Gavaskar trophy
Aleem Dar is among one of the most respected umpires in the game.
Though Indian cricket team won the second ODI against South Africa at Centurion by nine wickets, the decision by the umpires to call for lunch when Virat Kohli’s boys were just two runs away from the win created uproar amongst the cricket fans and experts.
Kohli, too, was not at all happy with the umpires’ decision to call for the lunch break and he even talked with the on-field umpires Aleem Dar and Adrian Holdstock about the decision.
However, Virat recently proved that everything is okay between him and Aleem Dar by endorsing his new restaurant.

A video of Virat has gone viral on the YouTube in which he can be seen saying, “Hello Aleem Bhai, I have heard that you have opened up a new restaurant…many congratulations on that. I wish that your restaurant becomes just as successful as you are an umpire.”
“I have also heard that you want to make a school for deaf children through the earnings of this restaurant. So I hope that you accomplish what you want to accomplish. I encourage everyone to go and try his restaurant,” Kohli added.
In 2017, during India’s tour of West Indies when Aleem Dar’s had sent a video to his idol Virat Kohli through his father, Virat had won many hearts by sending a video message to his Dar’s son.
“Hello Hasan show up. I have received your video from your dad who is seated right next to me. Thank you so much. As you told it is true that hard work and dedication are very important aspects of life that leads to success. So when you continue working hard your cricketing skills will improve. Hopefully, we will catch up if you come on some tour when Aleem bhai is umpiring,” Virat Kohli said in the video.
