Barcelona star Lionel Messi’s friend and his Argentina teammate Sergio Aguero gave a hilarious reply after he was accused of preferring Portugal legend Cristiano Ronaldo over his fellow countryman.

In a video shared by Manchester City’s official Twitter handle, the Sky Blue players were answering questions asked by their fans.

Reading a fan’s “Who is better: Messi or Ronaldo?” Fabian Delph jokingly accused Sergio Aguero of favouring Juventus star over his friend and Argentina teammate.

“You said Ronaldo the other day, didn’t you?” Delph accused Sergio Aguero. To which he replied, “who?!” as if to say “surely, you don’t mean me?”

Earlier on Thursday, following Premier League giants Manchester City’s emphatic win over Burton Albion in the English League Cup semi-final first leg, Kyle Walker had made an amusing claim on photo-sharing application Instagram.

Walker, who plays full-back for the Sky Blues, on Thursday took to Instagram after his side’s epic 9-0 win over Burton Albion in the English League Cup semi-final first leg and shared an amusing Instagram post where he claimed that he is better than both the football greats of this generation — Barcelona star Lionel Messi and Portugal legend Cristiano Ronaldo.

Highlighting a rather interesting difference between him and Messi-Ronaldo, Walker wrote:

“Goals in 2019:

Walker: 1

Ronaldo: 0

Goals in Carabao Cup:

Walker: 1

Messi: 0

End of discussion?”

Both Messi and Ronaldo were neck-to-neck in terms of the goals scored in 2018. While Messi scored 51 goals for his club and country combined, CR7 was right behind at the second spot with 49 goals.
