Wolves part ways with manager O’Neil after loss against Ipswich
Wolves have confirmed the departure of manager O'Neil on Sunday following their 2-1 loss against Ipswich Town in the Premier League.
The former defender feels the Anfield factor will prove telling!
Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has participated in plenty of tough encounters between Liverpool and the Red Devils and perhaps that is why the former defender has predicted a 1-1 draw for Saturday’s clash at Anfield.
Anfield Away… always tough place to go! Hoping for the 3 Points but I’m prediction 1-1 draw! Come on @ManUtd #LFCvsMUFC ⚽️ #UNITED pic.twitter.com/3jLph2Iehx

Ferdinand clearly reckons the Anfield factor will prove telling and predicts the Red Devils will drop points for only the second team this season.
Jose Mourinho’s men travel to Liverpool without central midfielders Paul Pogba and Marouane Fellaini but the hosts have injury problems of their own, with winger Sadio Mane ruled out as well.
United have a chance to go top of the Premier League table, albeit temporarily, if the win but their great rivals will not make life easy for them.
Liverpool, after a stuttering start to the season, lie in seventh place. They are seven points behind United and the game represents a perfect chance to close the gap between themsevels and receive some pressure on embattled manager Jurgen Klopp.
The German managers’ defensive tactics have been questioned of late, with silly goals preventing the Reds from picking up more points than they have. Their 5-0 loss at Manchester City was an extremely damaging one and Liverpool have won just one game since then to leave their title credentials in tatters.
United visit their rivals on the back of six consecutive wins and are clearly the form team of the two but with Liverpool desperate to give their fans something to cheer for, it’s anybody’s game.
