The Manchester City target is certainly a technically gifted player and the video is, understandably, going viral.

Most professional footballers can pull off the rainbow trick, but to attempt it on the basketball court and score a two-pointer with it is something most won’t even contemplate, yet Juventus maestro Miralem Pjanic has gone ahead and done the near-impossible.

Currently in the United States with the rest of the Bianconeri squad for their pre-season tour, the Bosnian midfielder was shooting a video with NBA player Kenneth Faried while he did the trick.

Apparently, the rainbow was supposed to set up Farried for a slam dunk, but the 28-year-old Pjanic cheekily decided he didn’t need his the Brooklyn Nets’ power forward assistance to score:

Farried, 28, recently completed a move from the Denver Nuggets to the Nets and perhaps he could have a word of advice for Pjanic.

The Bosnian midfielder is reportedly being courted by Manchester City, despite Pep Guardiola denying last week that the Sky Blues are after the classy midfielder.

If reports are to be believed, the Premier League champions are tabling a £90 million bid for the former Roma midfielder.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival in Turin has sparked rumours that several big stars will be offloaded to free up funds and make Massimiliano Allegri’s squad more manageable.

Along with Pjanic,  striker Gonzalo Higuain and defender Daniele Rugani (both Chelsea) are said to be on the radar of Premier League clubs.

Allegri has repeatedly denied that the club is considering selling the aforementioned players, but with the transfer deadline nearing, a lot can change in the next 30 days.

So far the Bianconeri have played just twice, drawing 1-1 with Benfica before beating the Portuguese side on penalties. The first tie of their pre-season was a big one, against Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich and they managed to come through with flying colours, winning 2-0.

They next take on the MLS All Stars before finishing their summer tour with a clash against European champions Real Madrid.

Ronaldo, the club’s biggest signing of the decade, is expected to link up with his new teammates on Monday, but it is unlikely he will participate in the fixture against the MLS All Stars.
