Paul Pogba and Juventus agree to terminate contract
Paul Pogba and Juventus have mutually agreed to part ways as the French midfielder faces an 18-month ban from football.
The 25-year-old can be seen effortlessly doing multiple ’round-the-world’ tricks in a row.
Paul Pogba may be in the midst of a turbulent season with Manchester United, but the Frenchman clearly has shut out all the critics and his slick freestyle skills in a training session for the France national team have quickly become the talk of the town.
After cooly controlling the ball on his chest twice, the 25-year-old Pogba, who recently got a ‘Super Saiyan Blue’ trim, goes on to execute three ‘round-the-worlds’ in a row before running off for a stride.
France coach Didier Deschamps has admitted his concern at Pogba’s lack of playing time at United under Jose Mourinho and with the wealth of talent the Les Blues boss has at his disposal, Pogba could be dropped from the starting XI of the national side as well.
United’s record signing and once the world’s most expensive player, Pogba has reportedly fallen out with Mourinho, something which the Portuguese has repeatedly denied.
Young Scott McTominay has usurped Pogba’s place in the lineup and while United fans have lauded the Scottish midfielder’s displays, they have been worried that the flashy Frenchman may leave the club in the summer just two years after joining them.
France, the 2016 UEFA Euro finalists, are seen as one of the major contenders for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, which kicks off in June.
N’Golo Kante, who plies his trade for Chelsea, is seen as an ever-present in Deschamps’ midfield with Adrien Rabiot (Paris Saint-Germain), Blaise Matuidi (Juventus), Thomas Lemar (AS Monaco), Corentin Tolisso (Bayern Munich) competing for the remaining spots along with Pogba.
Les Blues take on South American giants Colombia (March 23) and World Cup hosts Russia (March 27) in the final international break before the 2017-18 season concludes and Deschamps is expected to tinker with his squad a bit as he seeks to find his best possible formation.
