In England’s training session on Wednesday, it was raining nutmegs and one of the players on the receiving end was Burnley centre-back James Tarkowski, courtesy of ‘meg expert Dele Alli.

To be fair to Tarkowski, he does seem pretty disinterested and perhaps his half-hearted challenge is the reason why he Alli can easily knock the ball between his legs.

Not the Clarets defender’s finest hour, that’s for sure. Much to the glee of Alli, who’s just chalked up another victim and had club teammate Harry Kane as a witness too.

It’s worth noting that on the same day, Kyle Walker humiliated Harry Maguire in a training-session rondo.

England will be in action for the first time since their semi-final exit at the 2018 FIFA World Cup and the The Three Lions have a massive tie coming up against Spain on Saturday night.

Gareth Southgate’s men will then play Switzerland on Tuesday night in their final fixture before the players return to their respective clubs.

Apart from Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling, there have been no injury pullouts. The Jamaican- born speedster withdrew from the squad citing a back injury.
