Star Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar on Friday took a blinder off Mohammed Shami’s ball to get rid of Australia’s danger man Glenn Maxwell during the third and final ODI against the Oz team at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).

In the 35th over of the Australia innings, Maxwell top-edged a stunning bouncer by Shami and it went straight towards fine leg where SunRisers Hyderabad cricketer was fielding. Bhuvi fixed his eyes on the ball and ran his heart out to reach the ball and completed a stunning diving catch.

Earlier after winning the toss, Team India invited Aaron Finch-led Australia to bat first. Bhuvi in his first spell of the Day got rid of both Aussie openers Alex Carey and Aaron Finch.

Meanwhile, all-rounder Vijay Shanker made his ODI debut today. Shanker replaced pacer Mohammed Siraj from Indian squad as Kuldeep Yadav made way for Yuzvendra Chahal.

Ambati Rayudu has also been dropped from India squad for the last ODI and all-rounder Kedar Jadhav was included in Indian squad in his place.
