Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil continues to amp up his recovery from a knee injury and the German has posted another video of himself working hard in the gym on his Twitter profile to give fans a glimpse of his work-ethic.
Ozil, who has been sidelined since with the injury since Arsenal’s 2-0 win over Bournemouth, where came on in the closing stages to replace Alexis Sanchez.
The German’s latest video comes barely 24 hours after his previous one, in which he was pushing hard while doing a bench-press.
In the last year of his contract, Ozil is said to be considering a move to arch-rivals Manchester United and will be eligible to sign a pre-contract with them once the winter transfer window opens on January 1, 2018.
Ozil isn’t the only star player in the final months of his contract, with Alexis Sanchez the other set to leave the Emirates next summer. The Gunners, fifth in the Premier League table, play Watford on October 14 after the ongoing international break.
After a disastrous start, Arsene Wenger’s side have recovered to string together a four-game unbeaten streak but plenty of doubts remain over the club’s prospects for the season.
