Notably, ever since India’s exit from the World Cup in the semi-finals, speculations have been rife that Kohli and Rohit are not sharing a cordial relationship.

The Indian Cricket Team has arrived in the US for the upcoming two matches of the three-match T20I series to be played in Florida against the West Indies which starts from Saturday.
Soon after their arrival, players have been taking to their social media handles posting pictures of themselves while practising and enjoying in Florida.
On Friday, skipper Virat Kohli also posted a picture with his teammates on Instagram with a caption “SQUAD”.

In the picture, Ravindra Jadeja, Navdeep Saini, Khaleel Ahmed, Shreyas Iyer, Krunal Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and KL Rahul can be seen posing alongside Kohli.
However, vice-captain Rohit Sharma is missing in the photograph shared by Kohli, which has once again sparked rumours of a “rift” between Kohli and his deputy.
Meanwhile, various fans commented on the picture asking about the absence of India vice-captain.
Notably, ever since India’s exit from the World Cup in the semi-finals, speculations have been rife that Kohli and Rohit are not sharing a cordial relationship. However, putting a full stop to all the rumours, Kohli, before leaving for Florida, rubbished the claims.
But days after it, Rohit had posted a photo on Instagram which said: “I don’t just walk out for my Team. I walk out for my country.” And the photo caption in itself depicted a story.
It is to note that Rohit doesn’t follow Kohli on Instagram and recently he unfollowed Anushka Sharma — wife of the India skipper, which added fuel to the rumours.
However, Kohli still follows Rohit on the picture-sharing website, but not his wife Ritika Sajdeh.
Anushka also doesn’t follow Ritika and Rohit on Instagram and same is the case with Ritika who doesn’t follow the Indian skipper and his wife.
India threw away the advantage that Ravindra Jadeja provided with his 14th Test five-wicket haul by bowling New Zealand out for 235, with the home side losing three wickets in the last two overs of the opening day to end at 86 for 4, at the Wankhede Stadium here on Friday.
Five-time IPL champions Mumbai Indians have announced that they have retained their core players — Jasprit Bumrah, Surya Kumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma, and Tilak Varma ahead of IPL 2025 season.
