Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma make one of the most loved celebrity couples in the country. Both Anushka and Virat are prominent names in their respective fields, and fans can’t have enough of them. However, while Anushka Sharma is often seen cheering for her husband Virat Kohli in stadium, Virat Kohli has been rarely spotted at a film screening or a film set.
But if Virat Kohli’s latest Instagram post is to go by, it seems that is going to happen soon.
Virat Kohli took to the photo-sharing application on Friday to share a post in which he can be seen in a superhero avatar. Virat Kohli captioned the photograph like this: “Another debut after 10 years, can’t wait! #TrailerTheMovie www.trailerthemovie.com.”
However, it is not confirmed whether Virat Kohli’s post is about his debut film or just another advertisement.
The Instagram post comes with a link that further shows Virat Kohli posing with a gun. It gives a date too: 28.09.18. So, fans will have to wait till September 28, it seems, to get a clear picture.
Earlier, a video of Virat Kohli had gone viral on the internet in which two persons were seen taking pictures of the right-handed batsman’s beard from different angles. In the video, Virat was later seen signing a few documents.
After the video went viral, there were speculations in media that Virat Kohli was getting his beard insured.
However, Virat Kohli had later said, “Yes, Insurance toh karayi hain, lekin gaari ki, daadhi ki nehi (Yes, I have insured the car, not the beard).”
A week after the incident, the 29-year-old Delhi-based cricketer had also revealed that the video that went viral on the internet was for a shoot for Phillips brand as they were coming out with a new trimmer for men.
Virat Kohli got married to Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma in Italy in December 2017.
Meanwhile, the cricketer, alongside Indian weightlifter Mirabai Chanu, has been nominated for the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award for his contribution to Indian sports.
Broken phones, lost slippers and shoes lying around the Feroz Shah Kotla before a pitch invader breached security to touch Virat Kohli’s feet were some of the unprecedented scenes that summed up the iconic batter’s return to domestic cricket after more than 12 years.
The final round of the Ranji Trophy Group stage is all about one man — Virat Kohli, who will mark his comeback to domestic cricket after more than 12 years. Regardless of Delhi’s chances of making the knockout stages of the premier domestic red-ball tournament, the Group D clash has already garnered all the limelight, thanks to the iconic batter’s participation.
