India’s carrom-baller, spin wizard Ashwin bids adieu to international cricket
India's decorated off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin announced his decision to retire from international cricket moments after the Brisbane Test ended in a draw.
With the three-match Test series already in the kitty with 2-0, the Virat Kohli-led side will aim to clean sweep South Africa in the final match beginning Saturday at the JSCA Stadium in Ranchi.
Karwa Chauth, a festival of ritualistic fasting followed by married Hindu women, helps a couple celebrate the eternal bond between them. The wives fast without eating anything and drinking even a drop of water throughout the day for the long and healthy life of their husbands. The fast is broken only after seeing the moon at night.
However, to break the trend, Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli kept fast with wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma to celebrate Karva Chauth.

Taking to Twitter, Kohli on Thursday shared an image of the two with a caption: “The ones who fast together laugh together.”
