From thrashing Sri Lanka to hammering Australia, the year 2017 was exceptionally good for Indian squad and skipper Virat Kohli. Last year, Virat’s side also equalled Australia’s nine consecutive series win record.
However, the opening Test against south Africa was an eye opener for Virat and his boys. On one hand their batting line-up failed to click, while on the other, their Indian pacers kept them in the match with their fine bowling. However, following a winning target of 208 runs, the visitors collapsed at the score of 135.

Seeing the bouncy wickets on offer for the remaining two matches, it seems Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who had taken two wickets in the match, is planning to bowl fast to do some damage to the Proteas batting line-up.
