Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore on Thursday took stock of security arrangements at the Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) stadium here, ahead of the much-awaited Under-17 World Cup, commencing here on Friday.

A sports ministry official said Rathore was satisfied with all the arrangements.

The FIFA U-17 World Cup, being hosted in India for the first time, will conclude on October 28. The matches will be played at six different spruced-up venues.
