Shastri suggests Rohit to play the aggressor at No 6
Rohit Sharma’s decision to bat in the middle order in the Adelaide and Brisbane Tests, has failed to yield the desired results for the Indian team in the Border-Gavaskar series so far.
Ravi Shastri’s comment did not go down well with Indian fans who were already upset with the team’s batting dismissals in England.
Indian cricket team head coach Ravi Shastri hit back at his critics on Wednesday and claimed that “the current Indian team has played better overseas than Indian teams of last 15-20 years. And you’ve had some great players in those series”.
Shastri also said they won nine matches overseas and three series — a feat that no other Indian side were able to achieve.
