These retentions will leave the 2008 champions with two right-to-match (RTM) card options at the upcoming mega auction.

Mumbai opener batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal, who recently became the youngest batsman in the world to score a List A double hundred, has been selected for the upcoming Deodhar Trophy slated to be played from 31 October to 4 November in Ranchi.
It is to note that on 16 October, the Uttar Pradesh-born cricketer became the youngest batsman (17 years and 292 days) in the world to score a List A double hundred, scoring 203 runs against Jharkhand in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. His 154-ball innings, which was studded with 17 fours and 12 sixes, had helped Mumbai post 358 for 3 which they defended easily at the KSCA Cricket Ground.

The performance earned Yashasvi a spot in the India B team of Deodhar Trophy. He will be led by southpaw Parthiv Patel.
