Former India captain and current president of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) Sourav Ganguly gears up for a new innings as he was on Tuesday named among members of the committee to analyse Lodha Committee reforms.
Following the Special General Meeting on Monday, the Board of Control for Cricket India (BCCI) decided to form a committee to analyse how "best and quickly" the reforms suggested by the Lodha panel can be executed.
According to reports, Rajeev Shukla will head a seven-member BCCI committee to identify critical points in implementation of the suggested reforms.
The other members of the panel are TC Mathew (former Kerala Cricket Association president), Naba Bhattacharjee (Meghalaya Cricket Association Secretary), Jay Shah (Gujarat Cricket Association secretary and son of BJP president Amit Shah), BCCI treasurer Anirudh Chaudhary and acting secretary Amitabh Choudhary, who will be the convener of the committee.
