One of India’s most successful cricket captains Sourav Ganguly, on Wednesday, criticised the Wanderers ground and said playing Test cricket on this kind of surface was unfair.
The former Indian skipper took it to the micro-blogging site, Twitter to show his disappointment and wrote, “To play Test cricket on this surface is unfair …saw it in NZ in 2003 …batsman have minimum chance …ICC should look into it.”

The third and last Test match between India and South Africa is being played at Wanderers pitch where the ball is moving a lot and every batsman has been facing problem with the pitch.
Earlier after winning the toss, Indian skipper Virat Kohli opted to bat and India were bowled out for 187 on the first day of the third Test match. Other than Cheteshwar Pujara, Kohli and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, no other Indian batsman was able to leave a mark.
Once again Indian opener failed to give a good start as KL Rahul was sent back without any score and soon Murali Vijay, too, followed. Ajinkya Rahane, too, failed to make an impression and was sent back by Morne Morkel. All-rounder Hardik Pandya once again played an aggressive shot that was not needed and was back to pavilion.
