Star Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo scored in the 78th minute to extend Juventus’ unbeaten run in the Italian Serie A with a 2-0 home win over SPAL on Saturday.
Bosanian midfielder Miralem Pjanic drew the first blood for the hosts in the 45th minute, whereas Ronaldo headed in the second goal for Juventus.

It is to note that this was Ronaldo’s third goal of the campaign. He missed Tuesday’s win over Brescia with a minor injury.
After the win, Juventus are in second spot in the points table with 16 points, two behind leaders Inter Milan after their 3-1 victory at Sampdoria on Saturday.
Juventus and Inter will take on each other at San Siro on 6 October.
Talking about other matches on Saturday, Inter Milan beat Sampdoria 3-1 at Stadio Luigi Ferraris.
S Sensi initiated the things in the 20th minute. Within two minutes of the goal, A Sanchez put another goal for Milan. J Jankto scored for Sampdoria in the 55th minute, but R Gagliardini scored the third goal for Milan and locked the matter in favour of his side.
Riding on the goals from A Gomez (in the 6th and 20th minute), R Gonses (in the 13th minute) and D Zaoata (in the 35th minute), Atlanta defeated Sassuolo 4-1.
