The reported rift between Liverpool striker duo of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane is apparently over and the Mane has even admitted that he has “reconciled” with his fellow striker.

Mane had not kept his emotions in check when he was taken off in Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Burnley before the International break. His angry reaction at Salah was because the latter had failed to pass the ball to him which would have given him a golden chance to score.

With their win 3-1 against Newcastle, they have now taken a five points lead at the top of the points table. Their latest win saw both the strikers scoring for Liverpool and post the match, Mane had reassured that all is well between the two.

“With Salah? It’s forgotten,” Mane was quoted as saying by Canal+, a French media outlet.

“These are things that happen in football. Sometimes you have to say things face to face. Sometimes it happens that I am not given the pass.

“But we have reconciled and become the good friends we were before,” he added.

Salah had also posted a funny video on Twitter in an attempt to laugh off the rift between the two.
