IML 2025: Sachin & Yuvraj reunite after a decade against Sri Lanka
Two of India's greatest champions, Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh,are set to reunite on the field after a decade, donning the iconicIndia blues once again.
Sachin thanked India’s sportswomen for bringing laurels for the nation.

India’s cricketing icon Sachin Tendulkar remained humble on the National Sports Day and congratulated Indian sportswomen and thanked them for bringing laurels for the nation.
“We must all dedicate this #NationalSportsDay to the sportswomen of our country for making us proud in their respective fields. #LoveSports,” Sachin said in a tweet along with a graphic of a woman athlete.

The year saw women doing wonders in the field of sports.
Women’s cricket team, led by Mithali Raj, reached the final of the Women World Cup in July this year.
Earlier, Sakshi Malik and PV Sindhu won bronze and silver medals for India in the 216 Rio Olympics, respectively.
Member of Parliament Rajeev Chandrasekhar also wished women on National Sports Day, saying: “Happy #NationalSportsDay- celebrate achievements in sports – especially our sportswomen who have made India proud. @VijayGoelBJP.”
