The second match between India and West Indies was played at the Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium, which was hosting its first international match.
The Mumbai batsman brought his fourth T20I ton in just 58 balls. Sharma had earlier slammed centuries against South Africa, Sri Lanka and England.
On Saturday, Rohit Sharma crossed the mark of 50 runs in just 38 balls and in the process dethroned India’s regular skipper Virat Kohli as the player with most 50-plus knocks in T20 Internationals.

Shama’s unbeaten 111 runs against the Caribbean outfit was also his 19th fifty plus score – most by any Indian batsman. Virat Kohli is second in the list with 18 fifty plus scores.
The 31-year-old batsman also became the highest run-getter for India in T20 internationals, again getting past Virat Kohli. Now Rohit Sharma has amassed 2203 runs in the shortest format of the game, while Virat Kohli has 2102 runs to his credit.
