‘My retention wasn’t about money for sure’: Pant reveals ahead of IPL auction
India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has revealed that his release from Delhi Capitals squad ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction was not about the money.
On Sunday, Pant posted a video on his Instagram account where he along with chinaman Kuldeep Yadav can be seen playing cricket in the hotel corridor ahead of second ODI.
After the first ODI in Guyana got washed out, both India and West Indies were looking to have a productive training session at the Queen’s Park Oval, the venue of the second match of the three-game rubber to be played.
However, rain gods had other plans as they didn’t allow the teams to practise their game prior to the Sunday clash. But the rain could not stop India wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant from honing his keeping skills.
