If reports are to be believed, La Liga giants Real Madrid are looking to bid for another world-class player after they successfully drafted in Eden Hazard in the recently concluded transfer window and this time it is Liverpool striker Sadio Mane.

As per reports carried by Don Balon, a Spanish media outlet, Zinedine Zidane is keen on drafting in the Liverpool winger. Meanwhile, a rift between the striker duo of Mohamed Salah and Mane was reported and the latter could thus look for a way out of the Liverpool squad. It is because of this rift that top European teams like Real Madrid are monitoring his progress.

The reports also add that though Madrid wanted Kylian Mbappe as their next important signing, they do not have enough funds to try and rope him in as Paris Saint-Germain are demanding a massive 350 million euros for their star player. Similarly, they had failed to sign Neymar Jr from the Ligue 1 side too.

Although it remains to be seen whether Mane wants to move to Real Madrid he is definitely expected to be a much cheaper option than either Mbappe or Neymar.

If the deal works out for Madrid though, it would make for a threatening Real Madrid attack with Eden Hazard and Karim Benzema already present in the squad.
