La Liga contenders Real Madrid had an active transfer window in the 2019 summer. They have, in fact, signed as many as five players for their first team and have more or less all the bases in the team. However, none of these five new signings seemed to impress the Real Madrid team management or their fans in the pre-season matches- the same is true for Luka Jovic who has been below par to say the most. He is being linked with a loan move to other franchises and Madrid have identified his replacement in Timo Werner.
As per a report published in Don Balon, a Spanish media outlet, Real Madrid are trying to rope in Timo Werner who is currently playing for RB Leipzig as a replacement for Luka Jovic. The report further adds that Luka Jovic would be loaned out at least for this season despite Madrid signing him a few months ago.

Earlier unconfirmed reports had emerged which stated that Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane was not very happy with Luka Jovic for whom they had spent €60 Million.
If Madrid indeed loans out Jovic, Timo Werner’s name has emerged as a potential replacement. The reports also add that Madrid have kept an eye on him since he was a teenager and was playing for VFB Stuttgart. However, they will face competition from Bayern Munich who are also interested in getting him in their team.
