Paris Saint-Germain held a training session on Tuesday for the upcoming UEFA Champions League group stage clash against Napoli.
Star forwards Neymar Jr of Brazil and Kylian Mbappe of France as well as striker Edinson Cavani of Uruguay were present at the training, along with the rest of the available first-team players, reports Efe.
Injured defenders Dani Alves and Layvin Kurzawa will both be sidelined for Wednesday’s match, PSG confirmed via Twitter.
Veteran Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is also out, serving the last match of his three-game suspension from the Champions League.
UEFA suspended Buffon for protesting the controversial stoppage-time penalty that knocked Juventus (his team at the time) out of the quarterfinals in April.
After two matches, Napoli leads Champions League Group C with six points, while PSG is in third place behind Liverpool, although the two teams are level at three points.
