On the Cricket front, Kohli will be leading India in all the three formats in the upcoming bilateral series against the West Indies. Team India will be travelling to the Caribbean islands as well as the United States for 3 T20Is, 3 One Day Internationals and 2 Tests starting from 3 August. It is to be noted that the two-match Test series will be a part of the inaugural ICC World Test Championship (2019-2021).

The top-ranked batsman in both Tests and ODI’s had led India impressively in the recently concluded ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 where they topped the league table with 7 wins from 9 games. Nonetheless, their dream run came to an end in the semi-final against New Zealand where the Black Caps beat the Men in Blue by 18 runs.

The ‘run machine’ also impressed with the bat amassing 443 runs in nine matches, including five consecutive half-centuries.
