Jose Mourinho has made one change from the side that beat Stoke City 3-0 last week, with Ashley Young coming in to replace Luke Shaw at left-back.
David de Gea starts in goal, with Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Antonio Valencia completing their four-man defence. Nemanja Matic and Paul Pogba start in the centre of midfield, with Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata and Anthony Martial ahead of them.
Striker Romelu Lukaku completes the Red Devils’ 4-2-3-1 formation, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan missing out as his move to arch-rivals Arsenal gathers pace.
Burnley are in a rut at the moment after flying as high as fourth earlier this season and will be desperate to get back to winning ways but up against them are a resurgent Red Devils side.
Mourinho’s men have begun 2018 on a positive note and while their hopes of a Premier League title are slim, the race for the top-four is heating up and they will look to register their third league win on the trot to remain clear of the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool.
Burnley: Pope, Bardsley, Tarkowski, Mee, Taylor, Arfield, Cork, Hendrick, Defour, Gudmundsson and Barnes.
Manchester United: De Gea, Valencia (c), Smalling, Jones, Young, Matic, Pogba, Mata, Lingard, Martial and Lukaku.
Match starts at 1500 GMT/20.30 IST
