Striker Heung-Min Son, who found the back of the net in the 87th minute in Tottenham Hotspurs’ 2-0 win over Brighton in Premier League on Wednesday, is elated to score his first header for The Lilywhites.
“Normally, it’s not my thing to score with a header but I’m really happy to score for the first time with my head for Tottenham. Maybe I last scored with a header three years ago,” Heung-Min said as quoted by the club’s official website.
With the win, fourth-placed Tottenham earned three points to reach 31 points, chasing third-ranked Chelsea by just four points.

“I’m so happy to get the three points. It was tough. They defended well, 11 men in their half and it’s difficult, sometimes you need a little luck,” the 25-year-old Korean footballer added.
Heung-Min hailed Serge Aurier, who gave Tottenham an early lead after scoring in the 40th minute. “Everyone is so proud of Serge and I’m laughing because he’s my good friend,” he said.
Aurier too appeared overjoyed with the triumph as he was quoted saying: “I’m happy for the team, to score my first goal for Tottenham and for the victory. It’s very important for the team.”
