Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur produced a nail-biting thriller of a football match in the ongoing Premier League on Sunday. Although the match ended in a 2-2 draw, Arsenal treated its Indian fan base by posting a video on its social media handle featuring Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh cheering and dancing for them at the Emirates Stadium.

The video has taken the Internet by storm as the popular actor is seen cheering for his favourite team. The video was initially posted on Arsenal’s twitter handle and then retweeted by Ranveer Singh.

Singh, who is known for his extravagant dressing style, looked dapper in a blue and brick red coloured three-piece suit.

Apart from the video, Ranveer also posted pictures of the occasion on his profile. While in one picture, he is standing at the middle of the football pitch, in another he is posing from the stand. He also posed with Hollywood actor Will Ferrell and former Arsenal star and England International Ray Parlour.

Ranveer took to Instagram Stories to share a picture with Parlour. He captioned it, “Esteemed company. Legend.”

In another story in which he could be seen with Ferrell, who is popular for movies like “Step Brother”, “Elf” and “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy”, Ranveer captioned, “Will Ferrell and the Indian Ron Burgundy.”

On the work front, Ranveer is busy prepping up for his next film “83”, which is slated for a 2020 release. The actor is portraying the character of India’s 1983 World Cup-winning captain Kapil Dev in this movie, while Deepika Padukone is playing Kapil’s wife Romi Bhatia.

Meanwhile, Arsenal will play Watford next on 15th September in their Premier League campaign ahead.
