Arsenal displayed their set piece prowess during their 2-0 win over Manchester United on Thursday.
In terms of ball possession, pass accuracy and shots on target, Chelsea led the chart but United just inched them to turn the match into a one-sided affair.
Riding on a brace from Marcus Rashford, Manchester United got their Premier League campaign off to a winning start. And Anthony Martial’s goal and Daniel James’ strike towards the end of the rubber against Chelsea sealed a 4-0 victory for the Red Devils at Old Trafford.
On Sunday, the Blues started strong but once United got a first-half penalty kick in the 18th minute and converted it into a goal, the Red Devils finally clicked and poured it on in a surprisingly authoritative display.

Manchester and Chelsea both were looking in good touch. But in the first half, Manchester were leading the scoreboard 1-0 after Chelsea failed to convert their chances.

While United’s nerves settled a little with the goal, Chelsea continued to look the better side and went close twice towards the end of the first half – Ross Barkley forcing David de Gea into a vital save, before Emerson struck the post from close range.

New signing Daniel James, who had a deflected shot to find its way to the back of the net in the 81st minute, took to Twitter to share his happiness: “What a result! Special moment for me and my family to score on my Premier League debut at Old Trafford! No better feeling.”
